For Publishers
How Velocity handles your content and how to request changes or removal.
What we do with your content
Velocity is a trend-intelligence platform. We ingest headlines and short snippets from publicly-published RSS feeds, official APIs, and primary-source data feeds. We compute aggregate analytic signals — momentum scores, source diversity, confidence — and surface them in trend cards that link back to your original article.
- We do not store or display full article text.
- Snippet length is capped programmatically per source class (typically 200–280 characters).
- Every trend card and every API response credits the originating publisher with a click-through link.
- We do not train machine-learning models on ingested content, and we do not permit our subscribers or API consumers to do so.
- We honor robots.txt and rate-limit our crawlers.
Removal requests
If you are a publisher and want your content removed from Velocity — for any reason, without explanation required — email [email protected] with the subject line [PUBLISHER REMOVAL] and include the source domain (e.g., example.com) or specific source URL.
Our SLA
- Acknowledgment within one business day.
- Purge of all ingested content from the source within 24 hours of acknowledgment.
- Confirmation back to you with an audit identifier proving the purge completed.
- The source remains on our internal exclusion list — your content will not be re-ingested without prior written permission from you.
DMCA takedowns
For formal DMCA takedown notices under 17 U.S.C. § 512, we maintain a registered DMCA Designated Agent. Contact information is available on our DMCA page (coming soon) and is also registered with the U.S. Copyright Office DMCA Designated Agent Directory.
Notices may be sent to [email protected] with subject [DMCA NOTICE] while we finalize the dedicated agent registration. Same 24-hour purge SLA applies once the notice meets the statutory requirements of § 512(c)(3).
Licensing partnerships
We are interested in formal content licensing partnerships with publishers whose audience overlaps Velocity's trend-intelligence customers. If you operate a wire service, premium publication, or specialized data feed and would like to discuss a license, email [email protected] with subject [PUBLISHER LICENSING].
Velocity is operated by Andiamo Tech, Inc. — a Delaware Public Benefit Corporation. See our Terms of Service for the full content and acceptable-use framework.
